The thought in one line, in your own words. Pick its ship or name a new one (a thought that keeps coming back is easier to see as a ship than as the truth), weigh it from boat to galleon and say where it sailed in from. A quick-settings tile gets you there in two swipes.
The lamp keeps time for your breath: in as it turns toward you, out as it sweeps away (4·6, 4·4·4 or 4·7·8). The ship crosses the bay with “I'm having the thought that…” written beneath it and goes into the fog. Then you weigh it again.
A ship can wait at anchor until the watch: once a day, at a time you choose, with a lamp-oil timer. There you weigh each one again (often it's smaller by evening), write its cargo and chart it. A ship seen three times in an hour isn't lit again: it goes to anchor.
A ship's cargo is written as a forecast with a day: “I'll be fired by the end of November”. On that day the log asks whether it arrived, and whether you got through it. The ship's log keeps the count as a row of crates.
A ship whose cargo keeps coming to nothing fades into a ghost: translucent, green, sails in tatters. A ship that hasn't come for thirty days goes over the horizon and into a bottle on the keeper's shelf.
“And if it does, then what?”, sounded down to the bottom, where the lifeboat is: what you would actually do. And for three in the morning, the foghorn: only the beam turning in time with the breath, no words.

On Xiaomi (MIUI / HyperOS), Huawei, Samsung and some other phones, allow Autostart for Keeper and remove battery limits so the watch reminder arrives on time.

Because reassurance is what keeps this kind of thought coming back: it helps for a minute and teaches you to ask again. Keeper gives you your own log instead: how many cargoes actually arrived.
